I mean, it's not that I don't appreciate a good game of smoke and mirrors, but I think we're missing the point here. Oh, and while we're at it, let's not forget the recently discovered 'Diversion Team' handling up to 2,000 range complaints a week and canceling service appointments - talk about diversion tactics, right? Who would've thought even 18 months ago we'd see the day when #Twitter loses half its value under Musk's reign, shortchanges Google for its cloud, changes its name to 'X' (more like an ex now, eh?), gets shunned by Indonesia as a naughty site ( ) and dilutes its brand recognition in one fell swoop? Not Musk, surely, not our beloved Iron Man of the tech world!Īll that, of course, added to the revelations that our pioneer of the electric revolution has been leading us on a merry dance with some 'optimistic' range numbers on their dashboards.
Call me boring! And yes, exaggerating the #tesla car driving range so much, the owners thought their vehicles were broken falls way, way past that cliff.
